I never thought in a million years I would start a blog. I truly didn't think anyone cared about my life enough to even want to read something I wrote. Then I started a little Instagram style page and within a few months I went from 10 followers to 1,300! I was pretty shocked and super flattered that anyone even cares to see what I wear let alone follow me through my crazy life. So here I go... I am about to open up my world for all of you.
My name is Alyse. I moved to Maryland in 2006 and have lived here since. I relocated from Annapolis to a tiny area called Kent Island right on the Chesapeake Bay (I literally have a beach right down the street from me). I love living near the water. I have been obsessed with the beach since I was little so this is literally my dream place to live.
I married my college sweetheart in 2011 and we have two boys. I had my first son in 2014 and my second in 2020. I suffered from unexplained secondary infertility and went through a lot to have my second baby.... I'll save that for another post because its quite the tale and I am not sure I want to cry right now. I am a working mom (which is insane sometimes) and I have been teaching for 15 years. I am currently in a leadership role in my school and no longer a classroom teacher, but I still have the pleasure of working with kids on a daily basis.
I have always been obsessed with clothes, accessories, shoes, decor, you name it. When I say always I mean EVER since I was little. I have always been complimented on my outfits and my decorating but I never thought I would actually share it with the world. I want to thank you all for joining me and I hope you continue to follow me as I open up my world of motherhood, fashion, and day to day life.
